Dynamic Attractions has marked its entry into the North American tourist destination attractions market, following the recent opening of Wings Over Washington in Seattle.
Located at Pier 57, next to the Great Seattle Wheel, Wings Over Washington is a state-of-the-art flying theatre ride that transport guests through an aerial adventure, high over one of America’s most beautiful states.
“We create immersive, media-based attractions for the world’s largest theme parks,” said Guy Nelson, president of Dynamic Attractions. “We are now bringing our flying theatre entertainment product to major tourism destinations.”
Wings Over Washington is one of the most technologically advanced multi-sensory flying rides in the world. During the almost 20-minute experience, guests have the opportunity to not only see but also experience the riches of one of America’s most scenic states.
Commenting on the opening of the attraction, Kyle Griffith, co-owner of Pier 57, said: “We are thrilled to offer both tourists and residents an unforgettable experience of the many wonders of our great state.
“This ranges from not only a scenic perspective but an historical, cultural, and educational one as well. We also want to thank the incredible artists, craftsman, technology gurus, and expert construction teams who turned our dream into a reality.”
Orlando-based Dynamic Attractions has sold 17 flying theatres into theme parks and three flying theatres into major tourist destinations. In addition to Seattle, the company is building a tourist destination flying theatre for Miami and has already installed one in Macau.
“We expect locations that draw large numbers of tourists, such as Seattle’s spectacular waterfront, to be a growing part of our business,” Nelson said.
Earlier this year the company opened its Attractions Development Centre. The 32,000sq.ft facility in Orlando, Florida, will soon include an ‘experience’ studio with fully operational rides.
