Dynamic Attractions, a leading creator of cutting-edge theme park rides, has announced that Guy Nelson, the Executive Chair & CEO of parent company Dynamic Technologies, has been recognized in this year’s blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencers awards.
Announced at the blooloop V-Expo in October 2021, this award celebrates leaders in the theme park industry, who have shown creativity, innovation and a desire to drive the industry forward, even during the challenges of the last 18 months.

Nominees were put forward by their peers from across the industry, and the final list was chosen by a global panel of industry experts, before being announced on the final day of blooloop V-Expo, a three-day virtual conference for the attractions industry. Over the course of the event, attendees from around the world enjoyed keynote speakers from leading theme parks, museums and more.

This summer, Dynamic Attractions announced that its new flying theatre, SkyFly: Soar America, had opened to the public at The Island in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This fully themed, state-of-the-art attraction brings together ingenuity, family and Americana in a memorable steam-punk setting.
During the pre-show, guests experience the feeling of being transported by train to the launch site, where they discover an awaiting airship, transported from the 1900 World Fair to modern times and piloted by an inventor. The ride itself takes visitors on a soaring journey over beautiful scenery featuring key landmarks from across the USA, alongside scents, mist, wind and LED strobes for a fully immersive experience.
Earlier this year, Dynamic Attractions also announced that its parent company, formerly known as Empire Industries, is now operating under the name of Dynamic Technologies Group. Jerry Pierson has been appointed to the role of President and COO of Dynamic Technologies Group Inc.
